House Rules
We’re so excited to share our home with you. These simple guidelines help keep everything comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
Embrace the Mexican Culture
Part of the joy of being in Mexico is experiencing the warmth and friendliness of the culture. People here are naturally kind, patient, and extremely polite. We encourage you to lean into that—smile, greet staff and neighbors, and enjoy the slower, more gracious pace of life. A little extra politeness goes a long way here, and it makes every interaction feel even more special. Please be sure to be extra courtious to our staff and neighbors here at Costa.
1. Treat the Home With Care
This is our personal home, not a rental, so we appreciate you treating it with the same care you would your own space. If anything breaks or needs attention, just let us know—no stress.

2. Shoes Off Inside
To keep the home clean and comfortable, we keep a no-shoes-inside policy. Feel free to go barefoot or use the house slippers provided.

3. Shared Spaces
We’ll all be using the kitchen, living room, and patios together. Please help keep shared spaces tidy so everyone can enjoy them.

4. Food & Groceries
We love hosting, and we’re happy to share what we have on hand. Since this is a shared vacation, we simply ask that guests pitch in for groceries, drinks, and meals throughout the trip. It keeps everything in balance.

5. Air Conditioning & Windows
The AC can struggle with humidity, so please keep windows closed while it’s running. If you’re unsure, just ask—we’ve learned the hard way! Do not touch the dehumidifier thermostat but you are welcome to change you bedroom AC. Just make sure your touching the right one.
