Our home is about a one-hour drive from the airport. We typically do not pick up our visitors from the airport because arranging transportation is very easy. There are three ways you can get to our home.

1. Taxi
This is the cheapest option. Taxis are abundant, safe, and have fixed fares. Just ask up front what the fee will be when you give them our address. When you exit the airport, you will immediately be approached by people hollering trying to get you to ride with them. Simply look for the official Taxi Line and walk past the people hollering. There is a designated physical line where taxi drivers are to offer rides.

2. Private Shuttle (Preferred Option)
This is our preferred way for guests to reach our home. It’s slightly more expensive than a taxi but much more comfortable. There will be someone holding a sign with your last name who will help you load your bags and drive you directly to our home. Daniel will help you book this through our friend Oscar, who owns a local rental car and shuttle company based in Playa del Carmen. Please let us know ahead of time so Daniel can arrange everything for you.

3. Rental Car
This is the most expensive option but offers the greatest flexibility if you plan on doing excursions or simply prefer to have your own vehicle. Rental cars are available at the airport just like in the States, but the process can be confusing and time-consuming. You can also book a rental car through our friend Oscar, just like with the private shuttle. Oscar can bring a rental car to the airport for you, or you can get one once you arrive at our home. We usually take the private shuttle to our home and then book a rental car when we need it. After a long flight, driving through the Mexico traffic isn't the first thing we want to do. Tell your driver you are going to Corasol.  Corasol is a little mini community that they will know the name. Our condo is called Costa Residences. So we are in Costa Residences in Corasol.  (Note, click on the "Our Address" to open google maps).
