After buying and selling several homes and working with three previous real estate agents over the years, I can honestly say that she is in a completely different caliber of agent. She is truly exceptional. We ended up finding our dream home, but getting there was definitely a bit of a saga. The sellers initially backed out and took the house off the market, and it would have been very easy for the opportunity to disappear. Kari—knowing how much we wanted it—stayed on top of it, worked thoughtfully with the sellers’ agent to understand what had happened, and helped us come up with a much more compelling way to approach the sellers. The house is also somewhat unusual, and Kari was incredibly thorough about making sure we understood what we were getting into. She went out of her way to find an inspector who was actually equipped to evaluate the nuances of the property, rather than simply sending us the first name on a list. Throughout the process, she was constantly researching, asking questions, and bringing potential issues to our attention that we wouldn’t have even thought to consider—including zoning and other property-specific concerns. She made us feel genuinely confident that we were making the right decision. Her knowledge is remarkable. She knows the Bozeman area and market extremely well, and her previous experience working as a lender gave her an additional level of insight into financing that was incredibly helpful. There were so many moments when we realized, “Oh, I wouldn’t have known to ask about that,” and Kari had already thought of it. But what I appreciate most is who she is to work with. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable while also being warm, personable, and genuinely invested in her clients. She is incredibly responsive, communicates clearly, and somehow manages to make you feel like you are her only client. After a previous experience where we never felt particularly prioritized by our agent, that difference was enormous. Looking back, I realize how much of a great agent’s value happens behind the scenes. Kari was constantly doing things we didn’t see—researching, anticipating problems, coordinating with other people, thinking several steps ahead—and because she was doing all of that, the process felt remarkably easy and painless for us. I used to think this was simply what a good real estate agent was supposed to be like. Having now worked with several agents, I realize how rare it actually is to find someone who combines this level of knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, and genuine care. We absolutely love our new home, and Kari played a huge part in helping us get here. We couldn’t be happier with the experience or more grateful to have had her in our corner.
